Drapery Overview
From simple, to exquisite and stunning, Fiber Contract’s drapery will add a wonderful flair to your rooms. We have many, many styles, weights, mounting options, and more available to fit any design vision.
For example, heavier drapery performs an excellent job at dampening sound in a room, allowing you and your guests to sleep peacefully. Lighter drapery, on the other hand, allows light in to brighten a dark room.
Drapery’s installation flexibility also allows you to install more than just one set of drapes as well. Add a set of curtains or lighter drapes beneath heavier drapes to get the best of both worlds. Or, mount the drapery on sliding rails to make it easier to move.
Fiber Contract offers many customization options for your drapery too. Perhaps you would prefer a simple flat panel look, or pinched pleats? How about wool instead of cotton?
You dream it, we make it!

Blackout Drapery
Blackout drapery are designed to completely block light, allowing for privacy and for light reduction.
Combined with sheer drapery, this creates a window treatment that is flexible for all of your needs.
Sheer Drapery
Sheer drapery are lightweight, loosely woven drapes. This allows light through and diffuses it, spreading the light throughout the room.
Some sheer drape designs also allow you to see outside during the day even with the sheer drapes drawn, giving you privacy while also flooding the room with light.
Please note that during the night, a brightly lit interior will easily be seen outside. Combine with blackout drapes to have flexible options for both day and night!

Lined Drapery
Lined drapery adds a layer to your drapery for multiple purposes. You can choose to make it decorative for that additional flair, or add a heavy liner so that the drapery readily dampens sound in the room. Or, maybe you need heavy drapes for additional heat insulation? There are many customization options for liners.
Blackout shades require the use of liners to accomplish their task, but liners can also be designed for more tasks!
