Hardware
An important part of your selection is consideration of decorative and functional hardware.
We’ll go over a few of the options offered by Fiber Contract
Decorative rod
If you are not choosing to hide your hardware with a valance, cornice, or other method, then rod choice is as important as the drapery itself. Mismatched rod styles will make a window treatment look terrible.
Fiber Contract’s decorative rods will accent, or even give flair to your window treatment.
A simple silver or black finish complements a neutral color look very well.
For drapery choices that have more of an emphasis on warmth and homeliness, a wood rod is an excellent choice to complement the style.
Roller Tracks
Drapery can be mounted from tracks, and is recommended for larger, heavier drapes for ease of opening and closing.
Tracks are composed of small raceways that roller assemblies travel in, which the drapery hangs from.
This design allows for very long lasting hardware and minimal wear on your window treatment.
Roller Shade Rollers
We can customize not only the fabric and design of your roller shades, but also the mechanism. Different finishes, different pull chain designs, or even adding motors, Fiber Contract’s roller shades have many options.
Mounting Options
Fiber Contract’s hardware offerings also come in ceiling and wall mounting options.
Wall mounting is the traditional method, installing brackets from the wall in which to suspend the track, rod, or roller shade, and is simple to install.
Ceiling mounting offers a lot of flexibility. For multiple layers of window treatment, ceiling mounting is easier to accomplish this task. Or perhaps you wish to hang drapery in the middle of the room as soft partitions, which ceiling mounting will accomplish.
Full or Partial Width Drapery
Drapery’s versatility is more than just window coverings. Clever application of design might lead to drapery which can also be used to divide a room, or cover an entire wall.
Since heavy drapery can be used as sound dampening, this can be a great choice for choosing drapery which can cover part of, or an entire wall. It can be fixed, or it can be on a large rail system to allow you to move the drapery around to inexpensively liven up a room rearrangement.
Consider finishing off your window treatment with one of our top treatment options.
