Roller shades bring a very simple but modern style to your rooms. With their low profile, roller shades are an effective window treatment for reducing or blocking light, all without taking up a lot of room.

Blackout Roller Shades

Featuring an opaque design, blackout roller shades blackout roller shades allow virtually no light through. They are great options for bedrooms and presentation rooms.

For those installs that demand no light at all, we offer channel guides for your roller shades to also block any light from leaking through the sides for a total blackout experience.

Solar Shades

If you have a room that would benefit from basking in the sun’s warmth, while also reducing glare, solar shades are for you. Using a loose weave, solar shades enable the majority of light to pass through, while reducing the harshness of the sun’s rays.

Solar shades are rated in openness factor, which is a percent of the amount of light allowed through. 1% are almost entirely opaque, only allowing through silhouettes in all but the brightest conditions.

5% allows enough light through that you can see what is on the other side during the day.

10% and up, objects will appear relatively clearly during the day.

Solar shades can also act somewhat like a one way mirror during the day; from outside during the day, it is difficult to see into the building. The effect will reverse during the night, so if privacy is desired, another overlapping window treatment will be needed.
